HURRICANE HARVEY DAMAGE REMINDER
The Orange County Appraisal District will be mailing the 2018 Notice of Appraised Values on April 2, 2018. Those that turned in their questionnaires prior to March 9th for Hurricane Harvey damage should see the adjusted value on their notice. If your value has not been adjusted or you have not turned in a questionnaire please contact our office after receiving your notice and speak to an appraiser. They will then work with you in getting the information needed for a value adjustment. You can also click on the Online Protest link at the top of our website home page which will be activated April 3, 2018. Follow the steps of filing the appeal and submit the documents needed. A staff member will contact you via the Online Protest Portal and work with you on the adjustments if warranted. The deadline to file an appeal is May 15, 2018.
